Salmon – delightful, easy to make and taste’s fantastic!

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 350 g salmon filet, skinless and deboned
  • olive oil to brush
  • fine sea salt flakes
  • 2 tsp whole grain mustard
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 tbsp Indonesian sauce ( like Ketjap Manis)
  • whole ground black pepper
  • 2-3 metal skewers oiled

Method

Heat the oven 200 ˚C, 400 ˚F, 10 minutes before cooking.

  1. Cut the salmon into strips and thread them on to each skewers, brush them with olive oil and cook in the oven for about 10 minutes, turn the heat down and grill for further 3 minutes, until lightly golden.
  2. Meanwhile, in a mix bowl, whisk together the whole grain mustard , Indonesian sauce and honey.
  3. Brush evenly over salmon and season with salt and black pepper, serve accompanied with steam vegetables and baked potatoes.

2- Espetinho de salmão

Ingredientes para 2 pessoas

  • 350 g de filé de salmão sem a pele e sem espinhos
  • azeite de oliva
  • 2 colheres (café) mostarda em grãos inteiros
  • 1 colher (café) mel
  • 2 colher (chá) molho Ketjap Manis ou molho de soja
  • sal grosso
  • pimenta negra em grão moída
  • 2-3 espetinhos de metal (passar azeite para não grudar o peixe)
Modo de praparo
  1. Pré aquecer o forno a 200 ˚ C.
  2. Cortar o filé de salmon em tiras e colocar no espetinho, untar com um pouquinho de azeite e assar por 10 minutos, baixar a temperatura e grelhar por outros 3 minutos.
  3. Em uma tigela pequena bater junto o molho de soja, o mel e a mostarda em grãos.
  4. Untar o salmão com o molho e temperar com sal e pimenta.
  5. Servir acompanhado com verduras a vapor e batata assada.

3-  Brocheta de salmon

Ingredientes para 2 personas

  • 350 g de filet de salmon limpios
  • aceite de oliva
  • 2 cucharaditas de mostaza en grano
  • 1 cucharadita de miel
  • 2 cucharas de salsa Ketjap Manis
  • sal marina en escamas
  • pimienta negra en grano molida
  • 2-3 brochetas de metal, engrasada
Preparación
  1. Pré calentar el horno a 200 ˚ C.
  2. Cortar el salmon en tiras, agregar en las brochetas y hornear por 10 a 13 minutos.
  3. Mientras en un bol batir junto la salsa Ketjap, la mostaza y la miel.
  4. Untar el salmon con la mezcla y sal pimentar, servir con verduras al vapor y patata horneada.

  1. I’d never thought of threading salmon on a skewer like this, but what fun…almost like a satay! And it seems like a great way to quickly and evenly grill the salmon, too. I love it!

    • Thanks, I’m glad you like it and salmon on a skewer is just like you said like satay, I’ve made once with chicken and peanut sauce, it’s great….have a great weekend:)
